PiggyFils is currently in pre-launch. This policy explains how we collect and use information from visitors and people who join our waitlist.

Who We Are

Information We Collect

When you join the waitlist, we may collect your first name, last name, email address, phone number, university, role, referral code, signup source, waitlist position, signup timestamp, and browser user-agent. We also collect basic website analytics and technical error data.

How We Use Information

To manage the PiggyFils waitlist and prevent duplicate signups.
To send confirmation emails and launch updates.
To understand website traffic and improve the product.
To detect, debug, and fix technical issues.
To protect the website and backend from abuse.

Tools We Use

We use AWS to host the website, API, and database; PostgreSQL to store waitlist records; Google Sheets as an operational mirror; Resend for emails; Google Analytics for traffic analytics; and Sentry for error monitoring.

Analytics And Monitoring

Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic and conversion activity. We do not intentionally send email addresses or phone numbers to Google Analytics. Sentry helps us diagnose technical errors and is configured to avoid sending default personal data from browser events.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate PiggyFils, comply with law, protect rights and security, or complete a business transfer if PiggyFils is reorganized or acquired.

International Processing

Our service providers may process data outside the UAE. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps to protect your data when it is processed by them.

Retention

We keep waitlist data while PiggyFils is in pre-launch and as needed for product launch, legal, security, and operational purposes. You may request deletion at any time.

Your Choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your waitlist information by emailing hello@piggyfils.com. You can also unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the unsubscribe option when available.

Security

We use HTTPS, access controls, database backups, monitoring, and operational safeguards. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to protect PiggyFils systems and user data.

Changes

We may update this policy as PiggyFils develops. The updated date above will show the latest version.
